This Is My New Jersey

The year 2024 has officially come to a close and we can turn the page to 2025.

I’m not going to lie, 2024 was a really hard year. There were a few positives, but overall, I’m happy to move into the new year. And of course I have big plans!

What are my 2025 goals?

Glad you asked. First, I want to be more consistent with my blog posts. New Jersey has plenty of great stories, an amazing history, and picturesque locations. I plan to bring you more unique information about the Garden State on a regular basis.

Next, I want to visit new places. I have plenty of “go to” and favorite regular spots. But I want to visit new places and bring those stories to you. I also want to share upcoming events that you can check out and enjoy!

I have always been an avid reader. A big goal for 2025 is to not just read technical books for my job, but to read more about New Jersey and develop a better understanding of the history of my great state. As I finish reading different books, I will be sure to share a review of it. I think I need to come up with a Jersey-esque way to score them. Maybe “fuhgedaboutit” for the worst, “menzamenz” for not terrible, not great, “aight” for better than average, and “fill it, premium” for the top of the heap! Yeah, I think I like that. Stay tuned.

So that’s my goal list for expanding my love of New Jersey and sharing it with all of you.
